Edward R. Fell, 88, of Springfield passed away peacefully in the presence of family on January 26 in Kansas while visiting his son Glenn. A gentle man with a love for God, nature, and friends, he will be missed by all those who knew him. He was born December 10, 1927 in Springfield and spent most of his life there. Before retirement, he ran his own business, Freight Car Unloading Service. His hobbies included gardening, beekeeping and playing the harmonica. He is survived by his second wife, a son, daughters and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main St. Agawam, MA at 2:00 PM on February 6. A fellowship will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory should be made to Jubilee Farms. Interment will be made at a later date.
