Helen B. Brisbois, of Essex, entered into eternal rest October 17, 2008 following a brief but courageous battle with her illness. She was 79.
Born in Danvers, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Nora (Gajda) Felix.
She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School. Following High School, Helen graduated from North Shore Babies Hospital Nursing Program in Salem. She stared her Nursing Career at North Shore Babies Hospital caring for the sick babies. When Helen became a mother, she stayed home to raise her children. When she returned to work, Helen was employed with the Village Restaurant in Essex. She was a waitress for the restaurant for over 20 years. She enjoyed her "Tuesday Girls Club" and was very happy caring for her family, she loved them all dearly and was very proud of all of there accomplishments.
She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Brisbois and surviving her are two sons, John Brisbois and wife Andrea of Gloucester, David Brisbois and wife Kim of Danvers; one brother, John Felix of Beverly; one sister, Grace Parker of Danvers; four grandchildren, Jason, Eric and Lance Brisbois, Danielle and David Irving; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Henry Woytowicz, Mary Martin and Jennie White.
Inurnment was in Spring Street Cemetery.
