MACON - Lloyd F. Black, 90, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL. The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. -Mrs. Black, wife of the late Converse Carlton Black, was born in Elloree, SC the daughter of the late Andrew Cornelius Felder, Sr. and Annye Hale Felder. She was educated in Charleston, SC and while living in Jacksonville, FL, worked as a bank teller at Florida Dealers and Growers Bank. Mrs. Black was a member of Highlands Baptist Church in Jacksonville and a member of the Loyal Order of Eastern Star. She had lived in Macon the past sixteen years to be near her family. -Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann (Frank) Manning of Macon; her son, Carlton (Carolyn) Black of MacClenny, FL; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. -Visit www.snowsmemorialchapel.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
