In 1859, when Rebecca was 17, her mother died. Her father remarried later that year to Dorothy Ann Leeper (1831-1900). Both of the marriages produced numerous children.
Rebecca married John Wesley Fees (1837-1919) on October 1, 1856 in Appanoose County, Iowa. Rebecca and John had eight children. In addition to the children for whom there are Find A Grave links, there was a daughter Sarah or "Sadie" born 16 April 1860, who married William E. Hedges, 16 March 1879, Lakeport, California. She died 22 March 1944, Santa Rosa, California.
Rebecca died on May 11, 1886 at the age of 44 and is buried in Hartley Cemetery, Lakeport, California.
After Rebecca died at age forty-four, her husband, John Wesley Fees, married on November 9, 1887, in Mendocino Co., California, Kate Patterson (1851-1906). They had no children.
