Alma Feazell Edwards, 82, of Collinsville, died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Bassett to Franklin Page Feazell and Nannie Dodson Feazell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Blaine Edwards; a son, Dennis Blaine Edwards; a grandson, Robert Gregory Ferguson; three sisters, Beatrice Angle, Ethel Sink and Deane Sherr; and three brothers, Elmer Feazell, Robert Feazell and Forrest Feazell.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Norma Foley of Stuart and Sandra Cockram of Bassett; a son, Barry Dwayne Edwards of Atlanta, Ga.; two granddaughters; one great-grandchild; and three sisters, Doris Whitlow of Bluefield, Diana Collins of North Olmstead, Ohio, and Juanita Thomas of Newbern, N.C.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bassett Funeral Service with the Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park.
