Funeral services were held today at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City for Arthur Myrl Bagwell, 52, a native of Dothan, Ala., and resident of Morgan City, who died Friday afternoon at Lakewood Hospital in Morgan City.
Survivors include her husband, Oakley Bagwell of Morgan City; two sons, Paul Brett Bagwell of Morgan City and Todd Bagwell of Galveston, Texas; one daughter, Kelly Lynn Bagwell of Morgan City.
Other survivors are five brothers, Bennie Fears of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronald Fears of Camilla, Ga., Keith "Chop" Fears and Glynn Fears, both of Morgan City; and George Fears of Patterson; four sisters, Bob Sue" Phillips of Port St. Joe, Fla., Hazel Hatcher of Doe run, Ga., and Juanice "Necie" Thompson, Mrs. Wade (Kaye) Gussman and Claire Fears, all of Morgan City; her mother, Lila Fears of Morgan City; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father.
Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City was in charge of arrangements.
