Alice Aurelia Favreau Alice Aurelia Favreau, 74, of Lawrence, KS., formerly of Austin, TX., Vineland, N.J., died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born January 17, 1932 at Gouverneur Village, New York, the daughter of Joseph Ernest and Aurelia Emily Velten Dusharm. She had lived in Lawrence three years after moving Austin, TX.

Ms. Favreau retired after 12 years of Service for the Internal Revenue Service, in Atlantic City, N.J., where she was a Group Clerk.

She was a U.S. Army W.A.C. Veteran of the Korean War, Serving from February 12, 1951 to September 18, 1952. She was stationed at the Chicago Quartermaster Depot in the Purchasing Dept.

She was a Graduate of Vineland High School, Vineland, N.J.

Survivors include, three daughters, Michele Armstrong and husband Jay, Lawrence, KS., Valerie Aurelia Brotherhood, West Palm Beach, FL, Victoria Ann Maners, Austin, TX, and one granddaughter, Ashleigh Aurelia Armstrong, Lawrence, KS.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Lawrence Funeral Chapel, Lawrence, KS. Cremation is planned. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. [Published in the Austin American-Statesman on 9/2/2006.]
