She was born on February 15, 1918, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Domenic and Maria Carmela (Marciano) Sica. She moved to Italy as a 3-year-old, returning to Waterbury in 1949. She was employed at Timex Corp. for 20 years until retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where she was also a member of the St. Anne's Society.
She leaves two sons, Joseph Favale of Watertown and Vincent Favale of Plantsville; a daughter, Connie Croce of Middlebury; three brothers, Angelo Sica and Anthony Sica of Waterbury, and Joseph Sica of Oakville; a sister, Carmela Favale of Waterbury; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
