DAVENPORT - Funeral services for Gladys D. Faso, of Davenport. will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Family will greet friends 5 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Today we rejoice the life of Gladys D. Faso: a kind and loving soul; wonderful mother and grandmother and a truly great friend. Gladys Faso passed away July 10, 2005, at the Good Samaritan. Gladys D. Faso was born June 17, 1919, in McCausland, Iowa. Her parents were Fritz and Frieda (Rasche) Lessin. She married Anton J. Faso, December 14, 1936, in Waukegan, Illinois. Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 69 years, Anton J. Faso; sons, James P. and Linda Faso, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Robert G. and Gloria J. Faso, Davenport; and daughter, Doris and Don Cleary, Coal Valley, Illinois. Gladys was blessed with eight grandchildren: Nicole and Kelly McDonald, Davenport, Iowa; Deborah and Curt Croshaw, LasVegas, Nevada; Anthony and Vicki Faso, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mike and Rhonda Cleary, Moline, Illinois; Pat Cleary, Coal Valley, Illinois; Tom and Jenny Cleary, Coal Valley, Illionis; and Kathleen Cleary, Coal Valley, Illinois; and eight great-grandchildren. Gladys is survived by one brother, Arno Lessin, Wagner, Oklahoma. There are numerous nieces and nephews who will remember and rejoice in Gladys' life and love. Preceding her in death are her parents and two brothers, Fred Lessin and Wilbur Lessin, and a sister, Bernice Kindelsperger. May they rest in peace. Memorials may be made to Gilda's Club, Davenport, Iowa.
