Arthur L. 'Art' Farwell was born March 4, 1920, in Astoria, sonof Darius and Rose Workman Farwell. He married Virginia Holverson April 19, 1947, in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife; son, Terry Farwell; brother, Louis Farwell and sister, Wanda Landers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers.
He was a World War II vetera serving as a medic in Patton's 3rd Army in the Europe. He was award a Bronze Star.
