Betty P. Farner, 67, of 426 E. King St., died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994, in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she resided since Aug. 12.
Born Feb. 1, 1927, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Beulah Jones Snively.
She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church.
In 1990, she retired from Letterkenny Army Depot. She then worked in Chambersburg's Green Thumb Program.
Richard M. Farner, her husband, died on May 24, 1978.
Surviving are a daughter, Twila (Mrs. Terry) Lautenslager of 2952 Leafmore Road; six grandchildren; five sisters; Virginia Thompson of St. Thomas; Kathleen Cooper of Scotland; Peggy Spidell and Shirley Montgomery, both of Chambersburg; and Nancy Mouse of Marion; and three brothers, Paul Snively of Cedar Hills, Utah, and Lincoln Snively and Ted Snively, both of Chambersburg, Preceding her in death were a son in May 1993 and a sister.
Burial will be Wednesday in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
