Lois Faris, 93, of Clovis, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000.
She was born July 23, 1907, in Field, to John and Cora Landis Sheffield.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught a children's Sunday School class for many years, and was active in WSCS.
Faris was a past Noble Grand of Firendship Rebekah Lodge No. 21.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Faris, on Sept. 27, 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Lolinton Drue Faris and Gerald Hastings, both of Dallas; one daughter, Guylinda Sue Faris of Clovis; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Steve McElroy will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be James and Candace Pawol, Christopher Pawol, Zena and Pat Davidson, Scott and Liese Faris, Courtney, Aaron and Nicholas Pawol, Audrey and Sean Davidson, and Trent and Alexis Drue Faris.
