Mrs. Florence A. Fangman, 86, Seneca, KS, died January 17, 1991, at a Seneca Hospital.

She was born September 4, 1904, south of St. Benedict, KS, the daughter of Edward and Anna Engelken Stallbaumer. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School at St. Benedict.

Mrs. Fangman and her husband farmed west of St. Benedict until 1980 when they retired and moved to Seneca. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca and St. Ann's Altar Society at the church.

She married Paul A. Fangman on April 28, 1930, in St. Benedict, KS. He died August 13, 1990. A daughter, Ruth Haug, died December 7, 1974.

Survivors include daughters, Sister Esther Fangman, O.S.B., Kansas City, MO; Mrs. Jane Werner, Axtell, KS; sons, Charles Fangman, Pauls Valley, OK; Leonard Fangman, Topeka, KS; Gilbert Fangman, Topeka,KS; Elmer Fangman, Atchison, KS; John Fangman, Frankfort, KS; Lester Fangman, Seneca, KS: sisters Edna Sack, Seneca, KS; Mary Ann Huninghake, Seneca, KS; Alma Sack, Denver, CO; brothers, Walter Stallbaumer, Sylvester Stallbaumer and Paul Stallbaumer, all of Seneca, KS; 46 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Seneca, KS. Burial in the church cemetery.
