FALCO, Albert F. 91, formerly of Somerville, passed away on February 25, at Lexington Health Care Center. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice Z. (Malagodi) Falco. Albert was born on September 3, 1918 in Somerville, son of the late Joseph & Margherita M. (Laghetto) Falco both of Italy. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Amphibious Corps in Europe and Africa during WWII. Prior to his retirement he worked for many years as a Facilities Supervisor for the Polaroid Corporation, where he was a former chairman of the Employees Committee. Before that he assisted in the operation of his family's grocery store, Falco's Market in Somerville. He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in Somerville where he devoted many years helping with the Holiday Bazaar and Bingo and after his retirement he served as sexton there. He was a member of the Arlington Men's Club and the VFW. He enjoyed traveling with his family and close friends. Beloved father of Joseph L. Falco and his wife Rozanne of Lexington, and David E. Falco and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford. Loving grandfather to Jeffrey D. and Kevin M. Falco, also of Chelmsford. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his sister Rose and his brothers Gene, Vincent "Jimmy", and Armando "Curly". Relatives and friends will be welcomed on Monday, March 1 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Cota-Struzziero Funeral Home, 197 Washington St., Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o'clock at St. Anthony Church, 12 Properzi Way, Somerville. Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Albert's name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, Church Street Station, P. O.
