MRS. JOAN PATRICIA BERGMAN, 46, of 1369 Marshall Street, died at Washington County Hospital Wednesday following an illness of one year. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of Anthony and the late Eva Brammill Falco. She moved to Hagerstown in 1960.

She was a member of the auxiliaries of the Moose, the Red Men, the Eagles, and the Owls.

Besides her husband, Eugene T. Bergman, she is survived by two sons, Thomas John Copper with the U.S. Navy in Germany and John Thomas Copper of Hagerstown; one sister, Rosemarie Gueriano of Lake Revere, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

Services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
