Mrs. Meenen was born in Illiopolis on Oct. 16, 1913, the daughter of Joseph and Clella Garvey Faith. She was formerly employed by Illinois Power Co. in Decatur. She attended Monticello High School and MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Decatur Club and Country Club of Decatur. Mrs. Meenen was active in many volunteer organizations including the Decatur and Macon County Hospital Auxiliary, American Red Cross and American Cancer Society. She married Harold G. Meenen on May 12, 1943. He preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1994.
Surviving are nine nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
