She was born September 20, 1909 in McLeansboro, Illinois, the daughter of William Herbert and Anna Lou Neal Fairweather. She married William P. Carson on December 21, 1944 and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by 1 brother, Wilson Delbert (Norma Jeanne) Fairweather of New Berlin, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers; Carl Fairweather, Charles E. Fairweather, and William E. Fairweather.
She was a secretary for the Secretary of State's office in Illinois. She was a charter member of the Waverly Genelogical and Historical Society, a member of the Wilbur Chapter #358 Order of the Eastern Star in Jacksonville. She was also a member of the Pythian Sisters of Waverly.
Services were entrusted to Neece Funeral Home of Waverly, Illinois.
