David George Fairclough was born September 3, 1916, in Salt Lake City. He was the first of six children born to Albert George and Sarah Mitchell Fairclough. He died April 14, 1979, in Cedartown, Georgia. He is buried in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery (Latona Section) near his parents, and younger brothers Victor Mitchell, Allen Johnson, and Mitchell Fairclough.
