In 1940 she and her parents and seven siblings lived on a farm they were renting for eight dollars a month on Frazeysburg Route 1 in Jackson Township, Muskingum County, OH. Her father also worked as a laborer for the WPA, with an income in 1939 of $250 for 22 weeks of work.

Clarabell Fairall, 93, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Friday morning, March 26, 2021 at her home.

Born October 24, 1927 in Frazeysburg she was a daughter of the late Bart and Lillie (Westerviller) Wright and was a 1945 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Clarabell was a homemaker and she assisted her husband in the operation of their farm. She was also a former employee of The Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg. She enjoyed reading and watching and feeding the birds and the deer.

Surviving is one daughter in-law, Patricia (Loewendick) Powers of Zanesville, Ohio; two granddaughters, Stephanie (Gary) Young of Frazeysburg and Sara (Shane) Hopper of Dresden; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Anna Wolford of Dresden and Evelyn (Kenneth) Sidle of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Marion Powers, who died in 1960; her second husband, Dale Fairall, whom she married September 23, 1961 and who died October 20, 2007; a son Billy L. Powers who died October 30, 2000; two brothers, Wayne Wright and Joseph Wright and five sisters, Dorothy Feasel, Mary Corder, Edith Flowers, Betty German and Ruth Bodine.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

Private funeral services will be held and Clarabell will be laid to rest in Frazeysburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice Care.
