She died on January 20, 1998, in Siloam Springs, Benton, Arkansas, at the age of 86, and was buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery with her second husband, Roy Lee Garrett, who shares a double tombstone. She has another double tombstone in the New Hope Cemetery in Chance, Adair, Oklahoma with her first husband, Richard Olan Bradford. Her name and dates are on it. There is an inscription that says that she is not buried there, but in Siloam Springs, Benton, Arkansas.
