Mrs. Becker was born in Stoverstown, on April 7, 1914, a daughter of the late Francis E. and Gertie (Gunnet) Eyster. She had worked for the former Bear's Department Store in downtown York as a sales clerk for 12 years. She was a graduate of West York Area High School with the class of 1933, and was a loving mother to her children.
Surviving are a son, Robert E. Becker of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; a daughter, Joan L. Crone of Dover; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Druck; and three brothers, John, Phil, and Richard Eyster.
Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
