Born Sept. 1, 1919 in Penn Township, Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Raymond L. and Reba M. Brehm Eyster.
Employed at his family's former Pontiac dealership in Shippensburg, he later retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
He was a member of the Carlisle Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Eyster is survived by his wife, Helen Frey Eyster; a son, Barry R. of Newville; a sister, Mary C. Boldosser of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Edward Dyche will officiate at services.
Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
