Uncle Randal M. Ewing and his wife Ellen McGavock Ewing brought me to Franklin, TN when I was three years old. I was raised in Williamson County, TN at my grandfathers, Dr. A.B. Ewing. He did mention his brother Joe and a Stepmother.
Worked for Lillie Milling Co as a bookkeeper , shipping clerk and handy man. My first office of any kind was police of the city of Franklin.

Former City Judge Dies in Franklin
He died at home following an illness of several weeks. He was twice married. His first wife was Miss Mattie Crutcher of Franklin, and following her death he married Miss Loulie McGavock of Franklin.
He was associated with his son Andrew B. Ewing, Jr. in road construction. Surviving are three sons, William McGavock Ewing, of Franklin, Frank Ewing of Portland, Ore, and Andrew B. Ewing, Jr. of DeRidder, LA.
