Mrs. Maggie Ewart Turner, widow of Robert H. Turner, who lived at 1709 Patterson Avenue, Roanoke, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. E. H. Ewart, 1709 Kemper Street, yesterday at 12:10 a.m. Death resulted from Bright's disease, Mrs. Turner had been in failing health for more than a year. Last June she came to Lynchburg for a visit with her people and rapidly declining health prevented her return to her home in Roanoke.
Mrs. Turner is survived by a daughter, Miss Margaret Ewart Turner, of Roanoke; her mother, Mrs. E. H. Ewart and the following sisters: Mrs. S. H. Lewis of Roanoke; Mrs. J. E. Marsh, Mrs. H. T. Crouch, Mrs. George H. Shelton and Miss Annie L. Ewart of Lynchburg.
Mrs. Turner's father, E. H. Ewart died here last February.
The funeral services will be held from the residence, 1700 Kemper Street, Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
