William Hoy Evilsizer 83 of Okawville died Sunday April 11th 1982 while on a visit to his son Nathaniel at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon IL. He was born on December 15th 1898 in Nashville, Illinois, the son of Henry and Kate (Whittenberg) Evilsizer.
On April 11th 1919, he was united in marriage to LuEdith Mae Linder of Mattoon, in Belleville, and she preceded him in death on January 13th 1978.
Mr. Evilsizer was a retired coal miner.
Surviving our four sons William Nathaniel and his wife Mary Evilsizer of Mattoon, Clyde and wife Leona Evilsizer of Mascoutah, Donald and wife Mary Lou of Cypress CA and Norman and wife Kathleen Evilsizer of Minneapolis MN and one daughter Maxine and husband Don Kuykendall of La Puente CA, 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter Louise and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 16th at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church in Okawville with Rev. Roy Anderson officiating. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Nashville. Moll Funeral Home in Okawville was in charge of the arrangements.
