Catherine I. Beale, 92, of Mountville, died on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Beale who died in 1966. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Martha E. Zuch Eves. Mrs. Beale retired in 1978 from RCA where she was employed for 25 years. She had been a member of the Lancaster Recreation Association, and had enjoyed reading, sewing, needle work and swimming. Catherine attended the Silver Spring Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, John C. husband of Mary Jane Beale of Mountville, and Richard W. husband of Sally Beale of Manheim; 10 grandchildren, 16 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; and a sister Martha W. wife of Charles Schlossman of Mountville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Rohrer, by brothers Harold, Kenneth and John Eves, and by sisters, Margaret Gibson, Geraldine Wolf and Ruth Ball. Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with interment in the Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
