Billy's father, Willie Harvey Everhart, was a WWII casualty, killed in action at Florence Italy on 4-14-1945.

Bill R. Everhart, 30, of 1232 Pecan, died Wednesday afternoon in the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo.
He was born in Quitaque and had lived in Amarillo 20 years. He was a member of the North Seminole Church of Christ, and had served 18 months in Korea with the Army.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; a son, Curtis of the home; his mother, Mrs. Clara Mae Everhart of 1405 Jackson; a sister, Mrs. Peggy Bullard of 4916 Leigh, and grandmothers, Mrs. Ida Dunavant of 1405 Jackson and Mrs. Savannah Everhart of Odessa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel. Robert Howard, minister of the North Seminole Church of Christ, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. James W. Read, pastor of the South Lawn Baptist church.
Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
The family prefers that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Fund.
