Brownsfield, Estella V. Evans - Age 75 years, of 110 of N. Market St., Carmichaels, died at 8 p.m. Monday, April 23, 1973 in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
She was born April 4, 1898 in Davistown, daughter of the late Amos and Naomi Hunter Evans. She was predeceased by her husband Ash Brownfield in 1969. She was a member of the First Christain Church, Carmichaels.
Surviving are these children: Mrs. Silas (Cecile) Higginbotham of Carmichaels; Mrs Clarence (Nannie) Higginbotham of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Charles (Mayme) Weriman of East Lake, Ohio; Mrs. Paul (Edith) Hope of Canonsburg; Mrs. Irene Houser of West Elizabeth; Mrs. Nick (Anna)Vokopovich of Jefferson; Owen Brownfield of Fairchance; Charles Brownfield of State of California: a foster son, Frank Lake of Fairchance; one sister, Mrs Guy (Oletia) Pitch of Freedom; 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceaded by a son, Blaine, and a brother, Harry.
Friend will be received after 7 o'clock this evening in the Paul Lesaku Funeral Home, Carmichaels, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Domenick Sgro officiating. Interment in Wolfs Cemetery, Dilliner.
