She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Walter Theodore and Minnie Randall Herndon.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday before the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
