Eric Lynn Etter, age 54 of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Kobacker House in Columbus.

He was a graduate of Milton Union High School and the University of Dayton.

Eric worked for Information Control Corporation. He was a member of the Salem Church of the Brethren and the Young Spirits.

Eric enjoyed playing the piano, singing, golf, poker, theater and bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years (together for 18 years); Michelle Lynn (Bensinger) Etter, daughter; Brittany Van (Chris Ray) Etter of Canal Winchester, son; Dane Andrew Etter of Dublin, sister; Cheryl (Paul) Owens of OK, mother; Jane (Warner) Etter of West Milton, mother-in-law; Carole Sue Armstrong of Mansfield, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; Jill (Meyer) Etter, father; Harold Etter and brother; Philip Etter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Salem Church of the Brethren (6037 Phillipsburg-Union Rd.) with Pastor Mike Hostetter officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) and on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of the Brethren, Heifer International or the Kobacker House, envelopes will be provided.
