Jewel Maude Etier was the daughter of John Seaf "Bud" Etier and Jennie Bell Bullington. Jewel's siblings were; Frankie Lee, Andrew Faborn, Vivian Pauline and Bennie Layton Etier.
Jewel first married Stephen Burton Faith Nov 24, 1940 in Weatherford, Parker Co., Texas. Stephen was in WWII at the beginning of their marraige. When he returned home, they lived in Weatherford for 42 years. No children was born to their marriage. After Stephen Faith died, Jewel married Eugene Robert Polser Mar 20, 1993. Six years later, Gene Polser passed away. Jewel lived alone until her death April 20, 2008.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Frist Presbyterian Church in Weatherford.
Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford.
Jewel was born Dec 21, 1914 in Parker County to John S. and Jennie Bullington Etier, and lived all her life in Parker County. She graduated from Brock High School and Weatherford College . Jewel was employed by J. C. Penney and Montgomery Ward before taking a job with the U. S. Department of Agriculture. She served in that position for 29 years, retiring in 1973.
She married Stephen Faith in 1940. Stephen passed away in 1982. Later, Jewel married Eugene Polser in 1993 and he passed away in 1999. Jewelwas a longtime member of Grace First Presbyterian Church, The Weatherford College Ex-Students Association and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She will be remembered as a generous, loyal and loving wife, stepmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Jewel was preceded in death by her sisters, Frankie Garvin and Vivian Etier; brother, Faborn Etier; and a nephew, Phillip Etier. Suvivors: Stepston, Buddy Polser of Dallas; brother, Bennie Layton Etier of Lockhart; nieces, Dell Wickware fo Weatherford and Betty Jeffrey of Dallas; nephews, John Etier of Weisiaco and Mark Etier of Austin; great-nieces, Robin Sefzik and Juliann, Jana adn Jamie Jeffrey of Dallas; and great-great-newphew, Jake Sefzik of Dallas.
