Will Etier was the son of Amos Franklin Etier and Martha Jane Grant.
He was one of 11 children born to his parents. Only 9 children lived to reach adulthood. His siblings were: Annie Beththire, Mary Jane "Mollie", John Seaf "Bud", Bertha Sivera "Sis", Edgar Lee Etier, Josie, Mattie and Myrtle. Idella and an infant male died at birth.
Will and Flossie Mae Phillips was married August 24, 1913 in Millsap, Parker Co., TX by John P. Swafford, MG. To their union they had two children, Helen Inez Etier and Lloyd Wayne Etier. Will and Flossie raised a granddaughter, (child of Wayne's & Ermaleen Hambrick Etier), who was legally awarded to them from infancy to adulthood, she was Ermaleen Kay Etier. Wayne's first wife died in child birth the day Ermaleen Kay Etier was born Dec 27, 1947.
For many years Will, Flossie, Inez and Ermaleen lived in Yuma Arizona until Will retired. They moved back to Parker County and lived in the Millsap area until their deaths.
