DEATH OF MRS. H. A. CREHORE
Mrs. Lizzie M. Crehore, wife of Harvey A. Crehore, died quite suddenly at 4:50 am today. She had not been in her usual health for a week, and while engaged in her household duties Monday, about 10:30 am she was stricken with apoplexy and remained unconscious the rest of her life.
Mrs. Crehore was a daughter of Solon Estey and was born in East Sullivan, N. H. Oct. 19, 1837. She came to Fitchburg in 1858 and was employed by Sherwin's cotton mill, now owned by B.M. Pitts, later at the shop of the American Rattan company in Newton place. Her marriage to Mr. Crehore was on Nov 8, 1858 and their married life has covered a period of a little more than 41 years. The family has resided at 11 Pleasant Street since 1874. Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Fred E. of Gardner, George H, and Clarence E, both of this city.
