She was born September 18, 1871 in Keokuk County to Alexander & Sarah Elizabeth Paxton Collins. Her life spent in the Ollie & Packwood Community.
On April 21, 1893 she was married to Mr. Estes. Besides her husband she is survived by six daughters; Irene Roby, of Webster, Ressie Ruggles and Myrtle Stanbrough of Fairfield, Lola Pauly and Mable Cox of Richland, Goldie Sable of Packwood; a son Homer Estes of Iowa City; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; four sisters Mrs. Susan Ruby of Des Moines, Mrs. Rose Cone of Miami, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mary Caster of Hedrick, Mrs. Lilly Ryals of Richland.
