Eugene Estabrook, Sr. dies very suddenly.
Eugene Estabrook, Sr. a well known resident of Chula Vista was suddenly taken by death last Saturday morning, after only a few hours illness.
He is survived by is wife. Mrs. Bobbie Reed-Estabrook; one son, Eugene Estrabrook Jr. of Chula Vista, one daughter Mrs. Charles A. Innes, Ocean Beach, Calif. A brother William E. Estabrook, reside at Denton, Texas; and a sister Mrs. L.V. Reed is at Camp Livingston, La.
Mr. Estabrook was born at Lufkin, Texas, Sept. 13, 1889, and he was 53 years, 6 months and 20 days of age at time of death. He was a member of the Chula Vista Baptist church and a member of the board of trustees of the church. He was also a member of Chula Vista Masonic lodge.

Beside the members of his family above mentioned he leaves a large host of friends and other relatives, who offer their sincere sympathies to the bereaved family.

Funeral services were in charge of the Hubbard Mortuary and held at Glen Abbey on Wednesday afternoon at 3. Rev. E.H. Shanks pastor of the local church conducted the memorial service.
