She was born in 1920 in Monon.
Wilma P. Erwin, 86, Granger, formerly of Monon, died on Monday, July 24, 2006, at Americare Living Center, Elkhart.
She was born on April 15, 1920, in Monon, to Delbert and Flora Mae (Vanatta) Dobbins. She married Charles M. Erwin on March 30, 1949, in Crown Point. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy R. (Paul Meribela) Erwin, Granger; sons Neal J. (Joann) Michal, Jr., Grayling, Mich., and Chip Erwin, Mishawaka; a brother, Kenneth (Cathy) Dobbins, Floral City, Fla.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Thursday, July 27, at the McGann Hay Funeral Home, Granger Chapel. Services will follow at 12 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in the Dobbins Cemetery, Wolcott.
