Albert Erickson, 84, died early this morning at his home, 68 Third Avenue WN, Kalispell. Mr. Erickson came to the Flathead in 1902 and was employed by the Somers mill until about 1940 as a planer foreman.
After the closing of the mill at Somers, he worked as a lumber contractor and engaged in farming west of Kalispell. Mr. Erickson retired in 1946 and moved to Kalispell.
Mr. Erickson is survived by his wife, Anna, at their home; two sons, Lloyd and Harry Erikson, both of Kalispell; two daughters Mrs. Neil Scammahorn of Kalispell and Mrs. Ray Slocombe of Whitefish; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
