SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- Carma Bair Hodge Erickson, 94, of Salt Lake City, passed away August 2, 2008, at CareSource Home Health & Hospice in Salt Lake City of cancer. She was under the care of CareSource Hospice.
She was born November 7, 1913, in Logan, Utah, to George Ervin Bair and Eva Larson Bair. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
She married Stewart Hodge July 24, 1935, in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked as an interior decorator at Peterson Furniture in Idaho Falls. Stewart passed away July 24, 1953. She wintered in Green Valley, Arizona, for 27 years and has lived the past year in Salt Lake City.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved reading, cooking, sewing, and interior design. Her favorite thing was traveling and she traveled extensively.

Daughter: Doreen Hodge, Midvale, UT
7 Grandchildren & many Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Hodge, her parents, and three brothers, Varsel Bair, Mont Bair, and Keith Bair.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, Idaho Falls, with Jon Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
