Novis Erickson, 73, of Crystal Beach died May 28, 2001, at The Clairmont in Beaumont. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Broussard's on McFaddin with burial at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. A native of Beaumont, she lived in Del Rio a number of years before moving to Crystal Beach and was formerly employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone and JC Penney. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Erickson of Crystal Beach; son, Dan Erickson of Crystal Beach; daughters, Rebecca Crockett and Clara Brezina, both of Honolulu, Hawaii; brothers, Conway Wilson of Beaumont, Marvin Wilson of Lumberton and Elray Wilson of Kerrville; sister, Wanda Ryals of Waco; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
