He was an avid fisherman and loved to play music as hobbies.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce K. Epps of Heber Springs; a son, Steven Ray Epps of Hot Springs; two daughters, Julie Epps and Alicia Combs of Heber Springs; two brothers, Earl Epps of Greenbrier and Leeman Epps of McAlister, Okla.; three sisters, Mary Gibson of Greenbrier, Betty Obanion of Reno, Nev. and Sue Dorado of Greenbrier; two grandchildren and many friends.
A private memorial service will be held at the home at 4 p.m. April 19 with Bro. Odell Altom officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend.
