Mrs. Rebecca Ellen Eppley, wife of John Eppley, South Middleton township, died at 6:10 o'clock this morning. She would have been 63 years old had she lived until Christmas Day. Mrs. Eppley was a loving wife and mother, a woman of many excellent traits and had a large circle of friends. She was a Carlisle market attendant for more than thirty years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for about 30 years and a member of the J.C. Stock Memorial Bible Class of the Sunday School.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, Mrs. Raymond Shughart, South Middleton, and three grandchildren, Dorothea, Lester and Glenn.

Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Elizabeth Peffer, Carlisle, Mrs. William Lippert, Carlisle, Mrs. Samuel Yingling, Carlisle and by three brothers, Albert Weibley, Boiling Springs, John S., of Dickinson and Oliver K. Weibley of Carlisle. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Burial in the Old Graveyard, Carlisle.

MRS. EPPLEY BURIED

A large concourse of friends paid last tribute to Mrs. John Eppley, who died last week, at the funeral services which were held at her late home on the Chambersburg Pike adjoining the borough, on Saturday afternoon. They were conducted by her pastor, Dr. H.B. Stock, of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. There were many floral tributes. Burial was made in the Old Graveyard, and the pall-bearers were J.K. Green, Dr. C.S. Basehore, M.R. Whitcomb, W.G. Rice, G.L. Mellinger and W.D. Peffer.
