Cordelia Mae (Parrish) Eoff was the daughter of Abraham Gibbs Parrish and Mary Jane Davis, natives of Indiana. Cordelia was the sixth of ten children. her siblings being George Abraham Parrish, Laura June Parrish, Keziah Parrish, Ulysses Grant Parrish, Mary Etta Parrish, Lucinda Parrish, Theatta Mildred Parrish, Ogilvie Russell Parrish and Harriett Parrish all born in Knox County, Missouri.

Cordelia married Sterling Price Eoff, the son of Linzy Eoff and Martha Missouri Mills, respectively natives of Missouri and Arkansas. Cordelia and Sterling were married December 26, 1886 in Edina, Knox County, Missouri. They were the parents of Petty Cleveland Eoff, Golda Ada (Eoff) Zinn, George Clayton Eoff and Forrest Murel Eoff. George was born in Estelline, Hall County, Texas, the other children in Missouri. Sterling was farming in Knox County, Missouri in 1900 and 1910, worked as a painter in the oil fields in 1920 in Butler County, Kansas and was employed as a house painter in Adair County, Missouri in 1930.
