Nancy E. Davis, age 90, of Robbinsville, NJ, passed away on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at the Phoenixville Hospital, from respiratory failure. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a resident of Hamilton Township most of her life. Mrs. Davis, a registered nurse, was a graduate of the Union Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River, MA, and retired after 25 years of service with Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. She was an active member of the Greenwood Avenue United Methodist Church until its closing, when she became a member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church. She was a leader in the United Methodist Women on the local and state level, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and served as a volunteer for many organizations. Daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen (Shoard) Entwistle; wife of the late Edward D. Davis, and mother of the late Jane E. Davis, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann (Polly) and Stephen H. Stetler of York, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas S. and Leslie A. Davis of Valley Forge, PA; five grandchildren, Scott Davis of West Chester, PA, Abigail DeStefano and her husband, Luke, of Paoli, PA, Adam Davis of Phoenixville, PA, Catherine Stetler of Harrisburg, PA, and Graham Stetler and his wife, Kirsten, of Montpelier, VT; two great-grandsons, Micaiah L. DeStefano and Nevin A.Stetler; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Saint Mark United Methodist Church, 465 Paxson Ave., Hamilton Square, NJ, with the Reverend Robert Marks, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at Saint Mark United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
