Cottondale - Savannah Englebert Barger, age 92, 2550 Clements Road, died October 8, 1998 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Chapel with the Rev. Larry Barger officiating. Burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Robert Cook of Woodstock, Hazel and Marion Brewer of Cottondale, Ruth and Leon Stokes of LaComb, La.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Lurline Barger, Matt and Jeanette Barger, L.D. and Annette Barger, all of Cottondale; one sister, Edith Clark of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Samuel Boswell of Cottondale; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, the Rev. Lewis Barger.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Barger, Robbie Dale Brewer, Danny Lynn Brewer, Audie Barger, Randy Cook and Keith Stokes.
