Mrs. J. C. Choate passed away Tuesday Nov 16, 1954, in a hospital in Bowie, at the age of 69 years.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Alvord with Rev. Ray Riley officiating. Interment was made in the Hopewell Cemetery

Miss Ora Bell England was born Oct 11, 1885, at Ladonia, Texas. She was married June 15, 1920 to James C. Choate. To this union was born five children, one girl preceding her in-death. Mrs. Choate was converted while a young girl and joined a Baptist Church at Ladonia.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. W. M. King of Alvord, Mrs Allan Livrance of San Antonio; two sons, J. C. Choate of Seagraves, W. Choate of Seaside, Calif, also 13 grandchildren.
