Elmer E. "Bud" Endicott, longtime resident of Oilton, died on Friday, December 16, 2005 in Drumright at the age of 96 years.
The son of the late Jess Franklin Endicott and Alta May Doyle Endicott, Bud was born on April 11, 1909 in Girard, Kansas.
Bud was united in marriage to Emma Louise McCartney on March 6, 1937 in Drumright. She preceded him in death on October 25, 1973, and he retired from McBride Oil Company in 1974.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, cars and wolf hunting.
Bud is survived by nieces, Thelma Wright of Cushing, Marie Brandon of Oklahoma City, Ilene Williams of Skiatook; nephews, Jim Geyer of Oilton, Jerry Geyer of Drumright, Wayne Endicott of Oklahoma City, Don Vickers of Centralia; several great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery at Oilton.
