Little Endecott Baby Passes Away.
Darylene Marie Endecott was born January 24, 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Ora Endecott at their farm home west of Drexel and departed this life March 23, 1936, aged 1 year, 2 months and 29 days.
The Lord saw fit to take her from us after an illness of two weeks. All the work of medical skill and care of loving hands could not keep her with us.
She leaves to mourn her early going her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Endecott, two sisters, Opal and Margaret, one brother, Edward, her grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. F. C. Smith of Merwin and Mrs. S. E. Endecott of Drexel and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jesus has taken a beautiful bud
Out of our garden of love
Borne it away to the city of God-
Home of the angels above;
Full blooming flowers alone will not do
Some must be young and ungrown
So the frail bud he has gathered home
A beautiful flower for his throne.
Father and mother, weep not and be sad;
Still on the Saviour rely,
You shall behold her again and be glad
A beautiful flower on high.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church at West Line on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. H. A. Mitchell, pastor of the Drexel Methodist church. Burial was made in the New Lancaster cemetery.
