"J. ALVIN ENCK.
Services were held Sunday afternoon from Spacht’s for J. Alvin Enck, 54, of 25 Front St., this borough, who died Wednesday evening at his home following a brief illness.
Death was the result of a heart attack, Mr. M. H. Yoder, county coroner, reported. Enck was employed as an inspector for the State Highway Department. He was born in Lexington but lived here for many years.
He was a member of the Lititz Lodge, 1050, I.O.O.F., Lamberton Lodge, 476, F. and A.M. and Rajah Temple, Reading. He is survived by his wife, Anna May Roland Enck, a son, John J., of Madison, Wisc., and a sister, Mrs. Warren C. Hess, State College."
