OBITUARY - Greensburg Daily News, Indiana, Wednesday, December 18, 1991:
Florence Emsweller, 87, Millers Merry Manor, Rushville, Ind., died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1991 in the Rush County Hospital, Rushville, Ind.
She was born Aug. 23, 1904 in Fayette County, Ind., the daughters of Lon and Lucille Curry Emsweller. She worked for the Taylor Hotel for over 20 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Buena Vista, Ind., and formerly lived on R.R.8, Greensburg, until she moved to Rushville, Ind.
She is survived by several cousins, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Madge Ryckman and Margaret Emsweller.
The services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg, with the Rev. Jerran Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, Ind.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
