A. J. Emm, B’ville, Dies In Hospital
Arthur J. Emm of Hayes Road, R. D. 3, Baldwinsville, a life resident of this area, died today in University Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Emm was employed as a plumber by Crouse-Hinds Company before his retirement last September. He was a member of the company's 25-Year Club.
He was a member and past grand of Americas Lodge, IOOF, a member of Salina Rebekah Lodge, 379, IOOF, and an honorary member of the Seneca River Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Bignell Emm; a son, Allen J.; five daughters, Mrs. Richard Merritt Sr., Mrs. Claude Rummerfield Jr., Mrs. Theodore Abbott and the Misses Norma and Sharon Emm; two brothers, Harold end Thomas Emm; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted in the Callahan-Hanley-Mooney Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Stanley C. Robinson, pastor of First Methodist Church of Baldwinsville, will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
